Janet Buckingham is an artist and writer who has lived in Moab since 1991. Naturally, her love of the red rock landscape inspires her art. While watercolor is her favorite medium, she also enjoys experimenting with mixed media using cloth, paper, found items and old book pages. She has dabbled in encaustic medium as well. Creativity is at the very center of her being and can’t imagine a life where she isn’t painting, writing or sewing or just fiddling with ideas for new art.
