Greg MacDonald | Watercolors
Greg paints daily, uses watercolor for its simplicity, and intentionally has no intentions. The paint flows on a blank page in unexpected ways bringing beauty, form, characters, story and meaning. He follows the paint, tries to stay out of its way, and has fun.
Born and raised in Montana, then after a long stint in Seattle, Greg has lived in Moab since 2013. He can sometimes be caught with his paints down in a local bakery.
Original watercolors are painted on Hahnemühle or Canson paper. They are framed with archival attention and UV filtering acrylic. Prints are pigmented archival ink on watercolor paper.
